MICRON “Dual Clean™” String Wound Filter Cartridges are available only in 10” length X 4 ½” diameter and use the highest quality using only FDA compliant polypropylene filter cores and filter media. The inner filtration layer has a lower micron rating than the outer layer to allow one cartridge to provide both coarse and fine filtration. This feature can be helpful when room for multiple housings is limited and/or premature clogging of a single rated cartridge is experienced. They fit all large diameter LD (Big Blue style) filter housings including Culligan, Cuno, American Plumber, Ace, Sears, GE, Keystone, Shelco, Ametek, Pentek, U.S. Filter, etc.
