MICRON™ ACTIVATED CARBON String Wound Filter Cartridges utilize an activated carbon material sandwiched between an outer and inner layer of filter media. The filter media traps the activated carbon particles inside the filter cartridge while the activated carbon helps remove chlorine and unwanted odor and taste. They fit all standard filter housings including Culligan, Cuno, American Plumber, Ace, Sears, GE, Keystone, Shelco, Ametek, Pentek, U.S. Filter, etc. Flow rates match or exceed all competitive brands.
