String Wound Filter Cartridge
 MICRON 10" long X 4-1/2" diameter "Dual-Clean" String Wound Filter Cartridges are wound with two different layers. The inner layer has a lower micron filtration rating than the outer layer so one cartridge provides both coarse and fine filtration! This feature eliminates the need for 2 separate filter housings and extends the life of low micron rated cartridges.
  • Fits all standard 4-1/2" filter housings, including "Big Blue" by Ametek, Pentek, GE, Culligan, and U.S. Filter.
  • Yarn (string) and core are FDA compliant Polypropylene
  • Available in micron ratings from 1 to 100 (Inside wind rating must be smaller than outside wind rating.)
